Freeride World Champion 2018 – personal statement

What a season! Something I’d never imagined bacame true: Me, the girl from the eastern flatlands of Austria, who grew up in Vienna, actually managed to grab the World Champion Title.
After not performing last year and having to fight heavily for a starting spot through requalifying through the european (Region 1) Freerideworldqualifier Series, that was a real dream come true.

And like most real achievements it wasn’t always that easy, I went through a very thight financial situation in Autumn 2017 and a pretty challenging phase in my private life during Summer/Autumn 2017.

It took me a while to understand to just let go, live the moment, don’t be stressed but still be focused and always seek to improve.
