Because of a southern stream all the beautiful Powder which we got around New Year turned to rather wet snow. That was a good chance to check out some future lines and work on my condition. Together with Andy and Eva I made a small tour on Dachstein.

It was the first time I actually took the new splitboard, the Untrac from Völkl, 155cm lenght into proper terrain. I’m amazed! Intelligent solution for the Kohla vacuum skins, the board is really playful, the rocker/camber combination is working very well during the hike up and adds some extra edge hold in difficult conditions. I’m happy, that splitboarding equipment is evolving that fast.
